Injection time prediction using Machine learning

This project aims to predict injection time for various stators using machine learning. The data requirement study identifies essential features, injection parameters, temperature details, environmental conditions, and operator information. Data wrangling involves cleaning, transforming, and integrating data from various sources. Feature selection is conducted using correlation analysis and feature importance techniques to identify relevant predictors. Multiple models, such as linear regression and decision trees are trained and evaluated using cross-validation. Accuracy checks involve splitting data into training and test sets, optimizing hyperparameters, and assessing model performance with metrics like MAE, MSE, and R² to ensure reliable predictions.

Visualization of WIP in layout

Data was downloaded from the ERP system every hour. A CAD layout was created, and an interactive scatter plot using Python Plotly was superimposed on the layout to identify queuing of work in progress at each station at any given time. Additionally, hovering over each bubble displays the value counts of each product queued at that location. A provision to search work orders is also provided. Finally, the layout can be published on the portal and displayed in the office to give a better overview.
